More recently, Dr. Zweiback worked as a Senior Practice Development Manager at Amazon Web Services. She holds a Doctorate in Public Administration from Western Michigan University, with a concentration in health care, an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College, a minor in Computer Science and several certifications in Information Technology, and is a SME on continuous quality improvement (CQI). She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a FINRA Public Arbitrator, and a Certified Professional Development Coach.
Dr. Damita J. Zweiback, Executive Director
Dr. Damita J. Zweiback is the Executive Director of Mary's House for Older Adults, a nonprofit organization committed to providing safe, secure, and social justice housing for older adults in the LGBTQ+/Same Gender Loving community. She is also the Head of Health Policy and Plans, in the Office of the Chief of Navy Reserve at the Pentagon in Washington DC. With over thirty years of experience as a subject matter expert (SME) in public health policy, Dr. Zweiback has managed national and state health policy initiatives including Health Equity and Social Justice, Women’s Health, Healthy Aging Initiatives, and FEMA's Continuity of Operations.
